The Material Specialist is responsible for ordering, expediting, receiving, stocking and distributing spare parts and office / shop supplies. In addition, you will be responsible for inventory accuracy, ordering, receiving and shipping transactions.

Essential Responsibilities

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma / GED; Must possess sufficient skills to perform basic mathematical calculations. Must possess experience handling equipment including forklifts, medium and small sized motor vehicles. Must have knowledge of traffic codes and regulations. Must be capable of lifting approximately 50lbs. Must have ability to work in shop environment

Desired Characteristics

Strong Computer skills Experience in the Railroad Industry Completed 16-hour classroom DOT TDG
