• Meet with supervisor to determine required shipments.
• Designate loads by customer/designation based on quantity needed and/or inventory available.
• Banding and wrapping.
• Inspection of the load preparation to be licensed plated and verification of loads.
• Obtain appropriate label to affix onto product (shipping labels)
• Ensuring quality by following policies and control plans outlined in the IATF certification.
• Use of scanners for inventory and license plating.
• Prepare BOL's for shipments.
• Proper identification and disposal of steel.
• Fork truck inspections.
• Files all shipping paperwork.
• Communicate with drivers.
• Communicate with shipping administration.

• Forktruck driving experience
• Minor computer skills
• Training and evaluation to obtain a license to operate a fork truck.
• Ability to use shipping software (Putty)
• Ability to obtain shipping report to license plate.
