JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Handler will be responsible for efficient and timely completion of daily material flow throughout the plant. This position is focused on working in a team environment to complete the control panel build while supporting the overall project schedule.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Experience in shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks.
• Verify material counts against supplier packing lists for accuracy.
• Familiarity with a variety of manufacturers electrical and mechanical components.
• Consolidates material onto pallets or group items together.
• Load pallets in rack locations with forklift
• Verify and record inventory counts by rack location.
• Data entry of material receipts into the computer inventory system.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders
• Must be able to perform all required tasks in a safe manner.
• Must be able to perform all required tasks with minimal instruction and no supervision.
• Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum one year of experience operating a forklift
• Experience with:
  • Hand tools - ability to read a tape measure
