Program Outline:

Marketing/Social Media Intern

This is an excellent opportunity for an undergraduate or recent graduate in communications, writing, marketing, or public relations to support BHN's communications initiatives.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the marketing and development team to:

• Support BHN's external communications to increase our visibility to key stakeholders and members of the community by raising awareness of who we are, who we serve, and our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

• Support BHN's internal communications to help promote the BHN staff excellence fund and other workforce development initiatives

• Create written, photo, and short video content for various social media and marketing purposes that include staff and external newsletters, website, and social media pages

• Interview staff/clients via phone or in person to develop stories for various campaigns and communications

• Attend and support various events and activities to facilitate content

• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties and other duties as assigned

• Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes necessary to achieve accuracy and clarity
