VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our thriving veterinary practice in Los Angeles, California.

In this position you will work to strengthen our relationships with existing referring veterinarians and to develop new referral business throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

Duties include:

• Partnering with Senior Management and other departments to build a comprehensive network strategy to support market growth.
• Fosters and maintains strong collaborative relationships with the veterinary community.
• Marketing and promoting new service lines to primary care veterinarians.
• Visiting primary care veterinarians and updating them on our services and specialists.
• Creating marketing materials.
• Acting as a liaison between the primary care community and our hospitals.
• Photographing hospital staff and equipment.
• Updating and maintaining our website.
• Promoting Hospital Monthly Newsletter, and Weekly Happenings
• Creating and implementing employee engagement strategy
• Creating and implementing social media recruiting strategy
• Other duties as assigned and modified at the Manager's discretion.

Required Skills:

• Excellent management, analytical and reasoning abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, and providers.
• Excellent social and interpersonal skills.
• Previous marketing experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of the veterinary industry and terminology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention-to-detail and strong organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
