Position Summary

The primary purpose of the Communications Coordinator is to work with the Communications Director to plan, create, and execute communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, website, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products. Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed.
Essential Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include public relations, special events management, advertising, and creating brand awareness • Manage effective search engine optimization (SEO) and provide interpretation of analytics to ensure the effectiveness of social media platforms • Work with the Communications Director to develop a long-term messaging strategy that conveys the ITT's story through key messages that are clear, consistent, and integrated through a variety of mediums and channels including web and social media.• Support the internal and external marketing partners by coordinating and collating content for website development and other branding collateral• Ensure all aspects of the product or company's branding are consistent and following the guidelines • Organizes the preparation of the company newsletter using marketing resource materials such as brochures, data, slides, photographs, and reports• Researches and develops content for publication of products • Coordinates, purchases and maintains promotional merchandise for campaigns and events• Prepare status reports on marketing efforts • Gather data on competitors and past sales to analyze prices and methods of marketing and distribution.• Assist in the development of marketing plans.• Research and recommend new ideas and technologies to improve marketing processes.
Position Requirements

• 3-5 years creating and editing website content, working with social media, internal communications, press releases and general brand guidelines support • Search engine optimization (SEO) experience including strong analytics background required • Experience managing websites' content updates and report on the success and analytics of marketing and social media strategies• Ability to research outline, write edit and proofread materials for newsletters, announcements, press releases etc. • Strong verbal, technological and communication skills• Flexible to work in a small team environment with limited resources• Ability to create compelling visual and written content through storytelling across multiple social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter) - create story content, fresh ideas, not necessarily MFG• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferably with focus on communications or Public Relations.

• Proficient in both photo and Video production techniques and equipment operation.

• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook required; experience with Hootsuite and Adobe Photoshop a plus

• Effectively collaborate with team members, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects to ensure timely completion.

• Provide guidance to management on internal and external promotional and creative projects.

• Must be able to coordinate projects within budget.
