Position Title: Marketing Campaign Technologist

Position Summary:

This position requires someone who possesses extensive hands-on experience partnering with various internal stakeholders across multiple functional teams to provide sound technical consultation, followed by developing, testing, launching, monitoring, and optimizing a wide range of personalized omnichannel and lifecycle-centric sales, marketing, nurture campaigns and journeys leveraging a highly diversified marketing technology stack.

Given this position will be accomplished predominantly from a work-from-home setting, the candidate must carry out their duties and responsibilities in a professional setting within the confines of all U.S. time zones, have reliable broadband Internet connectivity, possess strong communication skills (written and verbal), collaborate well with others on a technical and business level, and possess strong organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills, all of which are deemed critical to meeting or exceeding project timelines, goals, and objectives in a complex, fast-paced, dynamic, ever-changing, results-driven environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner regularly with key stakeholders across multiple functional teams and roles -- some of whom have had little or no experience with or exposure to digital marketing methodologies or technologies -- to discuss, strategize, develop, deploy, measure, and optimize sales/marketing/nurture campaign journeys and events.

  • Create, upload, and integrate emails, landing pages, static digital assets (images, videos, PDFs), lead forms, dynamic content into campaigns residing in one or more channels.

  • Create, maintain, and leverage custom data objects/data extensions, and other approved 1st and 3rd party data sources deemed critical to accurate audience identification, segmentation, as well as personalized and non-personalized campaign journeys, which trigger optimal engagement within digital marketing channels supported by underlying campaigns, nurture programs, and lead generation strategies.

  • Perform quality control review sessions with stakeholders to validate and optimize campaign/journey flows, asset content/messaging, brand compliance, deployment timelines, cadence, lead routing, and post-campaign routing and journey mapping.

  • Identify, communicate, and resolve gaps adversely impacting sales and marketing campaign effectiveness.

  • Highly engaged and desires to develop or improve approach methodologies, best practices, techniques, tactics, and strategies to help continually optimize audience engagement, experience, and conversions.

  • Able to support a high volume of projects ranging in size, complexity, scope, and duration without direct or daily supervision.

  • Properly scope, build, launch, monitor, and improve sales, marketing, nurture campaign journeys.

  • Comfortable working in a virtual work environment with little to no in-person collaboration.

  • Identify and resolve challenges and gaps associated with small and large-scale cross-functional sales, marketing, and event related initiatives.

  • Performs well under pressure and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment through multiple communication channels (email, phone, video, chat).

  • Proactively pursues new methods and tactics that simplify processes, improve effectiveness, and triggers sales opportunities more efficiently.

  • Ability to travel when required.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years of referenceable Eloqua experience
  • Creating and running sales/marketing/digital campaigns and associated reporting
  • Experience with omnichannel (website, email, SMS, in-app push notifications, advertising, chat) campaigns
  • Creating and maintaining Custom Data Objects and/or Data Extensions

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience or working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, Email and Ad Studio
  • Data movement via API, FTP, Webhooks, CDPs and DMPs
  • AMPScript, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Creating and implementing SQL queries
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining responsive HTML and CSS
  • Alation, Tableau, Google Analytics, C3 Metrics
  • ION, Pathfactory, ON24, Webex, iCapture, Certain, and BrightTALK

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Position Type:

Full-time, salaried, with robust benefits package.
