The Manager of Supply Chain Regional Planning is responsible for making it easier for our customers to do business with us by enabling an order fulfillment experience that creates significant value for our customer. This includes ownership of all Regional Planning Processes that support the Research & Safety Market Division (RSD), Healthcare Market Division (HMD), and Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to department members.
  • Define and establish Best Practices to provide training and documentation to the Regional Planning team.
  • Drive departmental key process indicators (KPI's) to targeted levels including; Service/On-Time Shipment, Financial Performance (Days on Hand, Dead & Excess, Expiry), as well as Held Inventory and Stock Request adherence.
  • Support new business wins from implementation phase to maturity.
  • Provide reporting and customer insights to the commercial team for key areas of customer usage, service levels, and inventory.
  • Build enhanced commercial insight into held inventory and stock request performance.
  • Manage and disposition products at risk for expiration and obsolescence.
  • Facilitate collaboration with Commercial team and DC Operations.
  • Lead daily exception management to drive favorable KPI performance.
  • Facilitate an environment that promotes positive communication and interaction between departments.
  • Exhibit a passion for improvement and professionalism.
  • Drive continuous improvement through PPI project participation and leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree required Supply Chain preferred equivalent work experience will be considered
  • 5+ years of experience in a high volume, multi-location distribution environment.
  • APICS certification.
  • Understanding of relationships between the planning systems and the effects on the inventory and service levels.
  • Ability to interact with all functional areas and all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of initiatives and drive execution.
  • Sense of urgency and priority.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to apply in communications with business partners, operations, and corporate personnel.
  • Ability to travel as needed
