The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from 80% of lowest region to 100% of highest region.

JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees, manages, and provides guidance and direction to the Connecticut-based Energy Land Management team on their assigned programs and/or projects. Manages team workload and makes decisions on tasks, functions, and financial aspects of ELM projects.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work and range of responsibilities):
Organize and distribute workload among the ELM employees or contractors of his/her group in a cost-efficient way. Lead the team CT members providing guidance on various programs and projects assigned to ELM including, organization's Capital Investment Program. Set goals and direction for team within project timeline. Collaborate with Capital Projects teams to ensure deliverables and contributions of the ELM team meet or exceed expectations, including acquisition of requisite property rights necessary to build new utility infrastructure. Advise on plans and budgets for programs and projects. Oversee progress against plans and reports to ELM Director. Coordinate efforts on cross-functional projects. Hold regular program/project status meetings with Director and/or ELM Supervisors. Lead in accomplishing day-to-day goals and provide expertise and decision-making to internal and external project resources. Demonstrate proactive approach to overseeing work accomplishments and take action to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved. Provide recommendations on policies, procedures and goals. Implement approved new/revised processes and procedures as needed. Contribute to interviewing and hiring of new team members. Onboards new hires and conduct or delegate training on Avangrid polices and ELM processes. Responsible for managing the property sales in CT in accordance with ELM's standard policies and procedures. Coach and train team members on real estate negotiations, document revisions, and best practices in accordance with real estate law, regulatory guidelines, and company precedents. Follow company travel and HR policies. Authorize, review and approve working times and travel expenses, ensuring they are in compliance. Review, approve, and execute documents within ELM scope according to Grants of Authority. Recognize the efforts, results, and successes of team members. Supervise the centralized real property records and direct the maintenance of the company's real property database.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in managing Real Estate/Right of Way projects or 7 years demonstrated experience as a lead in Real Estate/Right of Way related projects, including but not limited to overseeing external and internal resources, identifying and managing project scope, budget control, creating and implementing local and global process standards and tools, training and reporting.
