What you'll do...

As a member of the Product Safety and Compliance team, you will have direct involvement in executing and building programs expected to guarantee product safety and regulatory compliance.

You will make an impact by...

• Monitoring the Product Safety and Compliance testing program, executed by 3rd party laboratories, and working with suppliers to ensure that testing gaps are closed and testing failures are dispositioned.
• Interpreting legislation to determine impact on business area; developing and coordinating execution of action plans to ensure compliance to enacted legislation.
• Collaborating across stakeholders to ensure program awareness and communicate change impact to other business areas (i.e. Quality Technical teams, Product Development teams; Merchant teams).
• Reviewing records of Regulatory outreach to Walmart facilities to ensure gaps noted by regulatory authorities are properly responded to and closed.
• Supporting Product Removal activities as necessary.
• Executing specific Product Safety and Compliance programs per direction of Sr Managers while recommending and developing strategies for program improvement.
• Drafting supplier communication documents to inform Walmart suppliers of Product Safety and Compliance requirements.
• Demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills
• Focusing on execution and results
• In a disciplined and organized manner, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrating the ability to work cross-functionally to improve processes
• Conducting legal research and interpreting legal requirements while determining business impact

• You have a Bachelor's degree
• You are proficient in data analytics & visualization skills using Excel, Tableau and/or Power BI
• You are proficient with MS Office Suite

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
