Position: Manager II, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Analyze and mine both structured and unstructured data to drive product-centric and user-centric insights. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage insights and drive product improvements across multiple functions throughout the organization. Design, monitor, and analyze A/B testing with statistical calculations (such as t-test and power analysis) using Python. Use SQL to query, retrieve, process, and analyze large amounts of clickstream and transactions data from different databases such as Teradata, BigQuery, Google cloud, and Hive. Provide data driven insights and deliver recommendations with a deep understanding of business problems. Develop and implement creative solutions to support a variety of eCommerce products. Provide analytics and technical expertise to management, product managers, and data engineering teams to identify business opportunities and optimize product performance/engagement. Leverage R and SQL to manipulate structured and unstructured data sources for analysis. Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk, and Looker to monitor product performance. This position does not supervise other employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience using Python to manipulate data and build forecasting models to predict customer behavior in order to improve products. Experience analyzing clickstream, transaction, and customer profile data in millions scale using SQL to gain product insights. Experience designing, monitoring, and analyzing A/B testing with statistical models to obtain statistical significance using R. Experience creating effective reporting and dashboards using Tableau, Looker, and PowerBI to monitor product performance. Experience identifying problems in data pipelines and cooperating with engineers to fix the issues. Experience deploying forecasting models in AWS and performing hyper parameter tuning in Sage maker to optimize model performance. Experience implementing model monitor metrics in Kubernetes and set metrics alarming notice to assist debugging process. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $138,911/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
