Maintenance Worker - The Beverwyck - FT Days
Responsible for maintaining, servicing, and operating all facility equipment and fixtures. Assists in maintaining the overall working condition and appearance of building and grounds of facility while maintaining a safe environment.
Responsible for performing, maintaining, repairing, and operating facilities grounds equipment and fixtures, such as: heating, cooling, plumbing, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, communications equipment, carpentry, painting, laminating, laundry and kitchen equipment, fire systems
Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance and grounds keeping of the site. Performs semi-skilled maintenance to non-mechanical equipment as instructed.
This is a mobile position and requires the employee to operate a company vehicle and work at multiple locations.
Answers assigned daily maintenance requests consisting of:
- Does assigned preventive maintenance work
- Does construction work when required
- Displays proficiency in the use of hand and some power tools
- Will assist and do any kind of work related to the functions of the Site Maintenance Department if required
Additional
- Stays productive between assigned tasks
- Able to work independently and show initiative to accomplish goals of the department and organization
- Keeps work and storage areas neat
- Tools and equipment are kept clean and operable
- Work is completed within a time frame acceptable to the supervisor
- Adheres to established procedures and rules; reports for work regularly and timely
- Operates company vehicle and works at multiple locations
Requirements:
- Valid clean NYS Drivers License
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance
- High School Diploma or GED
