JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for manufacturing sponges and other varying hand-held foam sanding products. Duties include operating robotic and industrial machines in a safe and efficient manner to produce required parts.
The essential job functions include:
- Set up and operate machines to produce required parts, removing parts from molds, and spray parts with release
- Operating equipment at most efficient speeds to ensure proper quality and output
- Inspecting and examining parts for quality
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards, and alert supervisor if adjustments as necessary
- Commitment to quality, including attention to detail
- Working collaboratively with team members, supervisor, and maintenance to communicate any issues
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior machine experience in a fast paced, repetitive environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally in English
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
