Perform all processing steps necessary for the flow of product through the Metallizing & Plating work cell; ensure product quality and adherence to appropriate processing standards; assist and instruct other departmental employees as directed.
You will:
- Operate all essential machines and/or equipment in the work cell
- Identify and actively participate in continuous improvements of safety, quality, and production
- May perform basic maintenance repair
- Operate hydrogen calcining and sintering furnaces, must maintain specified firing profiles
- Set up and perform various types of metallizing, including screen printing, through hole printing, brushing, etc.
- Train other employees on proper equipment operation and/or setup
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two or more years experience with work cell-specific machines and equipment
- Knowledge of product quality concepts and ISO principles
- Can use a variety of inspection and measuring tools and techniques, including comparators if necessary
