Machine Operator

FULL-TIME

$17/hr, plus $500 new hire bonus, see details below

Our MACHINE OPERATORS work Monday through Friday, approximately 8-12 hours a day, with some weekend work required during our busy season.

SCHEDULE:

Day Shift: Monday thru Friday 4:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Saturdays as required
Swing Shift: Monday thru Friday 2:30 p.m. -1:00 a.m., Saturday as required

RESPONSIBILITIES (roles available in multiple production departments):

Molding/Expanding: Operate or tend machines designed to mold and expand bead into EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.
Cutting: Operate or tend machines designed cut EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.
Fabrication: Operate or tend machines designed to fabricate EPS blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous warehousing/production experience strongly preferred
* Comfortable working in a fast pace work environment
* Ability to use measuring gauges such as a measuring tape
* Ability to complete assigned tasks under strict deadlines
* Reliable means of transportation required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling constantly up to 50 pounds. In addition this position requires the following abilities listed with percentages:

Standing - 45%
Walking- 25%
Lifting/Reaching above shoulders/Bending and Twisting - 30%

Schedule

Shift start: 4:00AM or 2:30PM
Shift length: 9 - 12 hours
Monday - Friday, Saturday and overtime required as needed
