The New Hampshire Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

As an LPN in our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our students and contributing to their holistic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Compassionate Care:
    • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to students, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
    • Foster a supportive and trusting relationship with students, creating an environment where they feel safe and cared for.
  • Health Promotion and Education:
    • Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
    • Educate students on health and wellness, empowering them to make informed choices for a healthier lifestyle.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, counselors, and educators to provide comprehensive care and support to students.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
  • Emergency Response:
    • Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
    • Conduct drills and training sessions to enhance the preparedness of the center for emergency situations.
  • Health Records Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
    • Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required.
  • A minimum of one year of health care experience preferred.
  • Regional Approval required.
