Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Logistics/Value Added Engineer will support the technical demands of production/manufacturing floor and the customer. This person will develop Applications, processes, and procedures, create, maintain and provide documentation and evaluate and improve the quality of cycle time and processes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to…

• Support the technical needs of the production/manufacturing facilities: System trouble shooting; maintain label printers and test equipment; continuous improvement processes.
• Engineer solutions of both customer needs and internal processes: Create new automated processes; revision of build plans.
• Review and process engineering change notices to customer products: Evaluate the changes for correctness, compatibility, and impact on labor and current procedures. Revise build plans as required.
• New product introduction, including: Evaluating new system/product for correctness, engineering and documenting build and test procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
• 4-6 years of engineer experience in distribution center or manufacturing facility
• Strong coding experience with Python, PowerShell, or other programming languages.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of networking and computer architecture.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of procedures and concepts in own technical/subject area.
• In-depth understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the results of the area.
• Ability to evaluate/validate configurations for industry server solution, such as IBM and HPE

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• APICS certification
• Lean Sigma Black Belt

$76,500.00 - $93,500.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
