RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Load Balancing Network Engineer/Systems Admin in Alexandria, VA.Key Tasks:- Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times
- Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies
- Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces
- Develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects
- Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages
- Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures, and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment
- Extensive experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces
- Experience working independently in support of customer requirements
- Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions
- Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances
- Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations
- Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
