The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Department of Nursing is seeking a 90%-100% Licensed Practical Nurseto work for the Family Medicine Clinic

Duties to include:

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
  
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
  
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, Hours 0830-1730, No weekends or holidays

Location: UIHC Main Campus (Pomerantz Family Pavilion)

Pay Grade: 10 https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/merit-plan

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
