About the job:
TheLeasing Agentis responsible for maintaining occupant levels set by the Community Administrator. Day-to-day responsibilities include showing and leasing apartments to potential residents, gathering and preparing information required for tax credits and affordable housing.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of marketing or related experience in a busy, professional office environment.
  • Familiarity with general office procedures. Knowledge of computer operations, including basic data entry.
  • Posses positive attitude, high level of flexibility, effective communicator, detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • ABility to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Pass background screening (drug, employment history and criminal)
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
Essentials:
  • Provide general office support.
  • Represent the company in a positive, professional manner to all callers, guests and staff.
  • Orders office supplies.
  • Responsible for processing rental applications, certifications, and recertification, rent calculations and preparing leasing documents in accordance with the regulatory agency's specifications and Fair Housing Laws.
  • Answer phones and maintain daily traffic log.
  • verify income documents and maintain residents' files in accordance with the regulatory programs.
  • Responsible for collection of rent from property residents. Prepare deposits.
  • Work closely with other team members and supervisor to create a successful resident-focused property.
  • Maintain resident and property files and waiting lists in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Attends training as assigned.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
