Responsibilities

The Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist is responsible for the operational aspects and data input into the LMS to ensure database integrity, accuracy, and user access and output of required data. This includes working with other interdepartmental LMS positions, LMS vendor(s), user groups, training users and other users to achieve learning objectives and optimal functionality of the LMS. Works to ensure proper usage of LMS and serves as a point of contact for administration and enforcement of LMS processes. The LMS Specialist works with subject matter experts to create and deliver online learning content and serves as a technical liaison with customers and third-party vendors of online learning modules.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

High school diploma or GED from accredited institution. Associate degree strongly preferred.

Required Minimum Experience:

With Associate or Bachelor Degree -- Two years of experience with operating within learning management systems (SucessFactors/Plateau preferred), and experience creating and deploying eLearning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, and Camtasia Experience managing projects particularly in developing and implementing processes and systems.

Non-Degreed/High School Diploma - Four years of experience as outlined above.

Required Minimum Certification:

eLearning design certification preferred.

Required Minimum Skills:

Ability to prioritize multiple projects. Attention to detail. Able to learn new technologies.
