As product lead you will work on various aspects of user lifecycle. Your job will be to identify user needs and build world class products to meet and exceed those needs. You'll do this by using your strong data-driven approach to identify highest potential areas across the product experience and test variants of those experiences to unlock maximum user value.

In this role you will also be working closely with other product groups, marketing, regional business teams, customer support teams to understand customer expectations and design effective solution to exceed them. You bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love. The ideal Product Manager obsessively seeks to understand the customer's perspective, is data-driven, has a bias toward action, and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

You will build and optimize products at a global scale, monitor industry trends to inform growth strategies, use customer segmentation, market research, and firsthand customer knowledge to refine plans, specifications, and designs for multiple feature areas/projects. You will assess opportunities by identifying ROI and define key performance indicators. You will work with global and regional business teams to get alignment, report updates and build business cases, solutions etc

You will develop effective customer feedback loops, understands implications of feedback and translates that into better features and products, communicate the product strategy and vision in a compelling manner, which helps the team to remain focused on a common goal. You will define and document key results, KPIs, solutions, product requirements, features, and functionality. You will act as leader of a team of agile product owners. Draft business requirements, prioritize features, author user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to specification.

You will need BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. MBA is a plus. You need 7+ years of total experience building and launching consumer applications on web and mobile platforms, At least 4+ years of product management experience in Web/Mobile technologies, and Web/Mobile user experience. You need experience in web and mobile analytics, experience managing a team of product managers, strong experience of agile required, and ability to break down requirements into epics and stories, grooming and elaboration of stories.

You need the ability to negotiate with engineering, UI, UX, Content on the story scope, complexity etc. A past technical background a positive, strong business writing, numerical analysis and verbal communication skills, a get things done attitude; Self-motivated, with the ability to "roll-up sleeves" and prioritize critical deadlines, experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural background, ability to work seamlessly with matrix teams, and juggle projects across multiple networks and platforms. Experience in global money movement a plus

Annual base salary gross: $98,080-163,467. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
