Job Summary

The International IT team needs a well rounded individual who is able to wear multiple hats.  The main responsibility of this person will be to work with International customers or stakeholders to understand their business needs, their processes, prioritize capabilities, provide expert technical direction, create the solution vision and roadmap, design processes, define requirements, create features, partner with IT architects to design complex solutions, and guide work and international teams through the intake to delivery process. 

Solution Mgmt has explicit content authority to take responsibility for continuously defining, prioritizing, and validating requirements. Since the International team relies on multiple Solution Trains to deliver capabilities, this person will laise with multiple Solution Managers, Product Owners, Development Leaders and NA partners to ensure capabilities are delivered to EMEA, APAC, and LATAM stakeholders.  Working closely with development, in short, integrated learning cycles, Solution Management bring the voice of the customer to the developers.  Solution Management prioritizes work using Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF), schedule Features and Capabilities for Release using the Roadmap, validate customer response, and provides fast feedback. 

The Main Responsibilities

  • Works with International EPIC Owners, PM’s, STE, stakeholders and end users
  • Gather and understand business and user needs & validates solutions across a large range of business systems
  • Understands processes and design new processes and solutions in partnership with other Solution Managers and IT architects
  • Understands & support portfolio work
  • Manage & prioritize the flow of work
  • Lead and participate in a matrixed team of global employees to meet business objectives and service levels
  • Lead group projects and decisions, ensuring that the right problem is solved efficiently
  • Participate in peer reviews of data analyses, process documentation
  • Prepare executive summaries and actionable recommendations from detailed and complex analyses
  • Owns Solution Vision and Roadmap Solution Backlog, Pricing, ROI
  • Collaborate with Release Mgmt
  • Content authority over Capabilities and Features
  • Backlog refinement
  • Understands Solution Enablers 
  • Collaborates with other teams to share impact of projects to international users; prepares international users for participation in projects where impacted
  • Analyze vendors' software terms and conditions to determine alignment with business and user requirements. Recommend terms and conditions that provide the greatest flexibility now and in the future
  • Develop and improve best practices for achieving Software Asset Management objectives; automate tasks to improve efficiency where appropriate; influence others to adopt best practices
     

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in business analysis
  • 5+ years experience in project or program management
  • 5+ years of experience designing IT solutions
  • Skilled at data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Abilitiy to work with cross-functional team and external vendors
  • Requires minimal supervision to manage multiple priorities, applies independent judgment to accomplish objectives
  • Demonstrated strong and positive interpersonal talents; able to interact with and influence people from all disciplines; able to balance persuasiveness and assertiveness to build relations while meeting objectives.
  • Self-awareness of skills and awareness of organizational impacts
  • Preferred: Experience in International Business
  • Bachelor's or 8+ years of relevant experience
