An American Company is seeking a Lead Front End Software Engineer (ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) in Clearwater, FL.

Role Description

The Digital Commerce Team is seeking a highly motivated candidate that will join our talented software development team, as a Lead Front-End Developer, responsible for building and supporting existing capabilities for company's online e-commerce products and services. Candidate will be a key member of one, or more, of our Product Platform Teams. You will exercise your expertise in engineering, architecture, and design, to create the necessary front-end templates, components and prototypes to support the implementation of the user interface. To be successful in this role it requires you to be able to collaborate with UX team members, have a good eye towards the design and user experience, and work independently on the implementation. A key component in this role will be mentoring developers, code reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed for front end coding patterns.

• Collaborating with design and development teams to deliver engaging browser-based desktop and mobile user interfaces
• Using critical thinking skills to solve difficult and sometimes ambiguous problems
• Developing responsive pixel perfect prototypes using HTML, CSS and JavaScript with an emphasis on ReactJS for use on various devices in various environments
• Providing support to the rest of the web development team by converting mockups and wireframes into clean and easy to maintain reusable HTML, CSS and JavaScript with an emphasis on ReactJS
• Maintaining and writing new JavaScript using the latest ECMA standards
• Validating and testing for 508 compliancy and cross-browser / platform / device compatibility
• Writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code and assist in maintaining and optimizing frameworks, libraries and plugins
• Additional duties as assigned
• Meeting attendance and punctuality standards
• Executing code reviews to follow proper standards
• Interface with 3rd party content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager
• Acting as technical SME when relating business requirements to development work

Skills & Requirements

• 4+ years HTML, CSS, JavaScript experience
• 4+ years ReactJS experience
Adobe or CMS experience
• This individual will be a technical leader - experience/comfortablity

NICE TO HAVE
• Prior experience working at a large company
• 9+ Years of work experience building front-end with HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• 6+ Years working with ReactJs
• Ability to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
• Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
• Ability to create and conduct formal presentations.
