Posting Summary:

Perform routine to complex laboratory and technical functions in support of basic cancer biology research in the Department of Biomedical & Health Sciences.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):

Bachelor's degree in the biological/life sciences. Experience with mammalian tissue culture, zebrafish model system including microinjection, tumor spheroids, RT-qPCR, western blot analysis, and fluorescent microscopy is required.

Anticipated Pay Range:

20.15/hr to $22.50/hr

Special Conditions:

A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Bargaining unit position, Background Check required for this position
