Information Technology, Contracts Manager (Americas Zone)

As the IT Contract Manager, you will participate in the contract management activities for the L'Oreal IT Organization across the America's zone. This includes development and implementation of assigned initiatives in close partnership with your IT, Legal, Sourcing and Business stakeholders. You will enhance overall supplier's contract value. You are expected to demonstrate a high level of analytical and financial proficiency as well as excellent communication skills and strong team spirit mindset to be successful in our highly collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive relationships with external suppliers (software developers, service providers and hardware).
  • Assist IT managers in the development of and compliance to the global procurement strategy, identifying procurement opportunities and optimal approaches
  • Understand and manage supplier contracts (technical, commercial and legal aspects)
  • Ensure the management of strategic suppliers (technical, commercial and legal aspects)
  • Develop and negotiate contracts - using judgment and flexibility based on internal policies - in partnership with the legal, sourcing and IT teams
  • Ensure that contracts and deliverables are prepared within the prescribed time frame, meet quality criteria and are comply with compliance/compliance requirements,
  • Anticipate and monitor any changes, extensions or terminations that may need to be applied to contracts
  • Manages the performance of in flight contracts (in accordance with KPIs (Main indicators of performance), SLA (Service Level Agreements), clauses, etc.)
  • Ensure the management of strategic suppliers/subcontractors (technical, commercial and legal aspects) and support IT managers and the Sourcing organization in the selection of suppliers and the definition specifications (including service level agreements penalties, etc.),
  • Define and update KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), metrics and SLAs (Level Agreements) service) and monitor the respective performance
  • Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders (IT, Legal, Sourcing, etc.)
  • Effective use of tools to ensure compliance with processes and data requirements
  • Implementation/rollout of zone and global VMO initiatives, processes and strategies
  • Experience with Contract Management tools (Ivalua, Ariba, Ironclad etc.)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be responsible for building relationships and influencing your business stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Exceptional MS office skills (Excel and PowerPoint)
Your Experience / Education:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in Contract Management / Sourcing / Vendor Management
