Junior Project Manager

GDH Consulting has an enterprise client need a 12 month Junior Project Manager interested in working a variety of small to midsize projects which could include application upgrades, infrastructure projects, or corporate projects. This is a great opportunity for a project coordinator to move into a PM role.

· Organizes, manages, and implements projects by achieving objectives through key results.

· Partners to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.

· Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates and manages accordingly.

· Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

· Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.

· Provide monthly progress reports and financial updates on assigned projects

· Review and approve vendor invoices for payment & manage vendor deliverables working with Supply Chain.

· Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.

· Addresses questions and/or concerns throughout the project.

· Acts as a liaison between vendors, consultants, project team and business partners.

· Communicates and collaborates with project team to provide training and information required to support implementation and support of systems.

· Ensures project complies with any applicable federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
