The Apprenticeship role provides the opportunity to excel and to set in motion a Career Path. The role requires the maturity to take on challenges, the desire to learn, and the desire to be part of a team. Our success relies on the passion we put on everything we do.

As a Banking Specialist Apprentice, you help create the energy and excitement around Amerant Bank products, providing the right solutions and getting products into customers’ hands. You understand that Amerant Bank is dedicated to delivering a customer experience that’s unlike any other. It starts with you discovering customers’ needs and with the support of your team members, you match those needs with the right products. Every day is an opportunity for you to turn another Amerant Bank customer into a loyal customer.

This internship is full of opportunities to participate collaboratively in various projects and additional assignments that directly contribute to the success of the unit you assist. In addition, the intern will have opportunities to interact and be mentored by tenured team members.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Act as a customer advocate to ensure we meet the needs of our customers and prospects with the intent of enhancing customer retention and engagement.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

• Learn how current team members acquire, retain and expand new and existing customer relationships by providing a positive new account experience, profiling, assessing customer needs, and recommending and selling appropriate banking products and services.

• Intern will be required to successfully complete all required course work within the allotted timeframe.
• Progress will be monitored by the intern’s performance of required tasks by collaborative coaches and the intern program director.
• Interns will be assigned to an intern manager and will also gain exposure to the bank.
• Interns will work with teammates and their manager on projects important to the bank's goals. On the job learning will be provided.
• Interns will participate in team meetings, training, and presentations as available
