RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Jr Data Engineer (SQL/ETL) in Columbus, Georgia (GA).Summary:Our client is a leader in the Healthcare Software space is seeking a Jr Data Engineer to develop, maintain, deploy data integrations, pipelines, and all related data warehouse structures. In addition, this role will also possess knowledge regarding how to integrate information technologies into clinical and business processes and the effective application of industry and organizational technology standards.Responsibilities include:- Building out data lake and power platforms
- Data from paychecks
- Jr Data Engineer is helping with the integrations of the companies they acquire
- Working Alteryx (EZ Morph)
- Owns development, testing, maintenance, and integration of applications, systems, and data
- Leverages integration tools to build, maintain, and implement our data warehouse solutions
- Gets to know the supported business areas, have an awareness of related objectives and challenges
- Jr Data Engineer works as an internal consultant, and mentors to more junior with task-level leadership, guidance, and direction
- Focus on accuracy and quality, while delivering on time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Knowledge and experience: Multiple Scripting Languages like Python, PHP, etc. (Linux/Unix/Windows), and API Integrations
- ETL experience using a wide range of tools i.e.. SSIS, Azure Data, Health Information Exchanges, EHRs, etc.
- Data modeling and analysis
- SQL Development (Stored procedures)
- Knowledge in BI Tools (Power BI) - preferred
- Knowledge in Cloud-Based Data Warehousing (Azure)
- Communication skills
- Experience with Databricks is a highly desired
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
