JAVA DEVELOPER ( spark/scala)
The Select Group is seeking a Java developer with hands-on experience with Scala/Spark and a data streaming framework such as Kafka. This role will require the developer to be onsite in Philadelphia, PA.
JAVA DEVELOPER ( spark/scala)
- 7+ years hands-on experience building software applications using Java
- Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, JavaScript
- Experience with Spark/Scala
- Experience with real-time data and stream frameworks such as Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, GCP dataflow, etc.
- Experience with RESTful Web Services and Micro Services
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with relational databases, No SQL, and a solid understanding of SQL
- Expertise in Agile development methodologies, software engineering concepts and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to work as part of multi-functional teams
