Job Description

The Manager reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for the following activities under the direction and guidance of the Account Manager or Account Director:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of appearance care staff
  • Responsible for the execution of CWS cleaning program
  • Responsible for the implementation of our QA program and the identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensures employee engagement, morale and retention.
  • Responsible for daily inspections, staff training and identification of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Provide professional specialty support to the appearance care team and to The Fund
  • Dedicated to implementing safety protocol within the appearance care team. Ensures Behavioral Observations Surveys are completed and drives advanced training based on the outcomes.
  • Monitors daily activities and specialty cleaning; drives operational synergies, and enhanced customer service.
  • Ability to successfully manage union employees and enhance productivity.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of APPA standards
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of CMMS and QA systems
  • Committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Capable of translating strategic intent into immediate successful delivery
  • Strong data and analytic skills; ability to translate data into actionable intelligence
  • A dedication to sustainable, eco-efficient operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • three to five years of janitorial managerial experience, and up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • The incumbent is responsible for assisting in the management of the site account. Specific responsibilities include: work-scheduling of all shift personnel, establishing work standards in conjunction with the Manager, conducting site evaluations/audits, overall inventory/equipment usage, budget control, employee evaluations, trouble-shooting/problem solving, orientation/safety training personnel, customer relations, payroll (time sheets, check distribution) and special project work as requested.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Motivated individual and proactive
  • Background check required
  • 3-5 years of managerial experience

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $93,500.00 - $110,000.00
