Job Description

The Project Coordinator works closely with the Director of IT to organize
and control project activities through communicating risks, opportunities and
current state of the project. Managing and coordinating meetings, resources,
equipment and information is a major part of the role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage team goals and new information
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Manage projects with PM software such as Jira and Smartsheet.
  • Accountable for preparing and reviewing project memos, meeting minutes and emails
  • Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
  • Manage, control and coordinate project schedule and implementation to make sure the project is completed on time
  • Accountable for ensuring clients' needs are met as the project evolves
  • Coordinate project team members to keep workflow on track
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Support the LIMS reference data team if or when needed.
  • Travels as required

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Environmental or IT
Ability and/or Skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Team-management and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to details even under pressure
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and/or General Science
  • Project management software such as Jira, Smartsheet etc.
  • Knowledge of LIM systems and general IT terms and environment.
  • Skilled with computers and laboratory software
  • Advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures
  • Laboratory safety rules and chemical hazards
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Good document review and editing skills
  • Complete work within time and quality constraints
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates are eligible to work remotely without sponsorship or visa for this position. Candidates commutable to Lancaster, PA or Denver, CO are encouraged to apply.

Salary ranges between $55,000 to $60,000 with benefits, PTO and company matching 401(k) plan.

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business section, and geographic location
