Description:
This is a new position, reporting to the Office Administrator and Managing Partner and supported by our outside IT vendor. The IT Coordinator will be responsible for:

•The day-to-day operation of the firm's information technology resources.

•Conducting firm-wide training

•Software research and recommendations

•Overseeing the network security to ensure the appropriate policies and measures are in place

•Responding to compliance requests related to technology resources

•Ensuring that appropriate hardware, software, network, and communications systems are implemented, maintained and upgraded

•Liaison with our IT help desk and communication vendors

•Develop, updating, and implement all IT policies and standard operating procedures, including those for IT architecture, IT operations, and cybersecurity

•Defining and executing strategy for employee computing needs, hardware and software selection, cybersecurity configurations, telecommunications and mobile technologies, employee training, and onboarding, etc.

•Translating changing IT environment to assist in planning future IT resource needs

Requirements:

•4 year degree in MIS, computer science, or equivalent work experience

•CompTIA A+ certificate preferred

•Experience leading an IT function, may consider substantive experience in a systems/network administrator or similar role

•Knowledgeable about network structure and ability to make recommendations to firm leadership

•Experience with managing a corporate help desk

•Problem solving and critical thinking skills.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Travel site to site as needed
