Are you an experienced IT Analyst looking for a flexible contract role in Bolingbrook? Horizontal Talent is recruiting an IT Analyst, ITSM, for a welcoming and inclusive team, and the role offers a compelling contract rate for your commitment.

You will analyze, document, and support ITSM Processes and Functions in a busy environment while supporting the ITSM tools. The IT Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.

Some of your primary responsibilities as IT Analyst include:

• Resolving ITSM support issues
• Providing proactive recommendations to maximize system use and usability
• Process improvements across all ITSM functions
• Maintaining system documentation, logs and work instructions
• Creating custom solutions and dashboards and analyzing and distributing reporting data regarding service-level commitments for business and IT service owners

We are seeking an IT Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support with the knowledge and ability to implement ITIL best practices for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog Management, and Configuration Management. You will also require:

• Knowledge and understanding of how ITSM can enable operations to become more efficient and effective
• Ability to diagnose application, software, and hardware problems in person and remotely
• Flexibility to provide support during odd hours, weekends, and peak seasons
• Excellent analytical, group facilitation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
• Preferred knowledge and understanding of Cherwell ITSM, but not necessary
