SUMMARY: The Inventory Demand Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing inventory planning strategies to support Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Product Development supply capabilities and financial goals.

  • In partnership with the VP of Operations, develop and implement inventory planning strategies to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maintaining high in-stock levels
  • Create advanced probability-based demand forecasts using statistical modeling techniques and big data analysis
  • Analyze large datasets to identify demand patterns and build predictive demand models using advanced modeling and database tools
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams to ensure inventory plans align with supply capabilities and financial goals.
  • Develop and adjust reorder points and order quantities for products based on demand forecasts
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turn
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize inventory planning systems

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience building probability-based models using statistical modeling techniques and large datasets
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong Excel skills and desire to improve them
  • Exposure to Financial Planning and Analysis and budget cycles
  • Ability to clear required background check

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exposure to and knowledge of Educational service provider materials inventory and systems
  • Exposure to inventory demand planning
  • Exposure to managing inventory for multiple product lines with varying demand patterns
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Desire to learn / improve skills with various modeling software tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $69,906.75 - $123,085.20. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
