INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALISTLocation

This position performs administrative functions as is necessary to maintain the needs of the Packaging Department, to include assembling, maintaining, and organizing daily, weekly and monthly production records, tracks and monitors packaging components using established inventory control systems.

Post and issue as needed, daily, weekly, and or monthly inventory activities regarding packaging component materials and finished products as appropriate, in the inventory control system of SAP

Assist with annual inventory

Maintain and issue as needed, daily, weekly and or monthly summary reports of plant productivity and service data, finished goods productivity, product quality data, productivity cost data, and the plant's production information.

Create issue and modify (as needed) production schedules, batch check-sheets, STO's, pallet tag numbers, etc.

Perform record review of batch files

Support both the hourly and salary team including assisting with and/or correcting mistakes they might make.

Communicate with and support other departments to ensure plant objectives are met.

Collaborates with outside warehousing and customers to maintain accurate finished goods inventory and billing information

Other duties as assigned

Must follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all Corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.

12 hour shifts overnights rotation schedule

Requirements

High school Diploma Required

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact well with people at multiple levels of the organization and with external customers in business and technical fields

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and functions

Must be a self starter, able to organize, prioritize as well as be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have strong problem-solving skills

This is an individual contributor role that combines hands on abilities with procedural knowledge and skills

Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge, with proficiency using Excel and Outlook

Experience using SAP (Systems Applications and Products) is preferred
