You are currently pursuing a BS (as a rising Junior or Senior), MS, or PhD inMechanicalEngineering. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
  • Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, and preparation of specifications.
  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Some hands on work to aid operations group and/or fabrication of prototypes.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $24 - $30.77 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
