Job Title: Intern- Business Process Excellence, Regulatory Sequencing

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Shift: M-F 9am-5:30pm

The Business Process Excellence Regulatory Sequencing Group focuses on process mapping and lean training in regulatory sequencing to identify wastes and areas for process improvement.

Intern Project Responsibilities:

Map current state processes in the regulatroy sequencing group. Support the merger of group activities between 2 distinct departments through process mapping and updating workflows, where identified.

Perform process waste assessment. Take time standards for generating value stream maps. Generate value stream maps. Create recommendations (and implement a subset) for an interim and future state based on the process analysis performed.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering.

Visio or other process mapping software (or manual drawing) experience preferred.

Familiarity with the 8 wastes of Lean.
