Central Kentucky Ag Credit Summer Internship Position

Central Kentucky Ag Credit supports rural communities and agriculture in seventeen central Kentucky counties. Part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, the Association loans funds for agricultural purposes, including land and equipment, and rural housing. Over 3,800 borrowers have chosen Central Kentucky Ag Credit as their lender of choice.

Central Kentucky Ag Credit has an exciting summer internship opportunity that will introduce participants to different facets of our Association. The internship experience will provide a broad experience within the different agricultural lending functions of credit, accounting, marketing, and more.

Responsibilities include:

  • Represent the Association in a professional and enthusiastic manner by providing an exceptional level of customer service with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in opportunities to acquire knowledge of the methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance with the Association.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports.
  • Other opportunities as they become available.
Required Qualifications

  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Takes initiative and conducts tasks independently
  • Meet deadlines
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of various segments of the agriculture industry
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in a college degree program related to the position or have recently graduated within the past quarter/semester
  • Junior or Senior level College Students preferred
