RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Interiors Advanced Design Engineer in Warren, MI.Essential Functions:- Interiors Advanced Design Engineer will be responsible for developing math design solutions to meet interior subsystem and component requirements; This activity develops independent problem solving and cross functional issue resolution
- Exercises creative solution development with some technical direction from Design Leader Technical or Senior Designer; Becoming experienced with multiple cycles of the Vehicle Development Process and the math fidelity of each cycle
- Working with interior of the vehicle, could be placed in different commodity; Seating, IP (instrument panel), etc.
- Responsible for studies and setting up initial architecture, 3D work
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience
- Has working knowledge of Design and Engineering Best Practices and is skilled in NX and Data Management System, Windows Suite, and VisMockup
- Proficient in CAD Tools and clear understanding of Standard Modeling Methods
- Injection molding
- Interior architecture
- Instrument panels, Seating, and Restraints
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
