Job Purpose: Teach, supervise, and advise psychology undergraduates with some possible graduate teaching responsibilities

Major Responsibilities

·       Teach undergraduate psychology courses, including introductory psychology, social psychology, personality psychology, developmental psychology, psychology of women, and other courses within areas of expertise·       Teach a psychology graduate course, depending on candidate credentials and departmental needs·       The option to engage in collaborative research with undergraduates exists in the department for those who are inclined·       Advise undergraduate students·       Engage in professional stewardship at program and department level. Employment Conditions:  The position is a nine-month, full-time non-tenure track appointment with faculty rank requiring on-campus contact with students, faculty, and staff.  Salary is competitive and dependent on academic qualifications.  Option of summer employment is possible.
Qualifications:
·       MS and 18hrs in graduate Psychology is required. Doctoral degree (PhD) in psychology is highly preferred. ·       Evidence of successful teaching at the college level.·       Evidence of scholarly activity and potential for research.·       Strong technology skills as needed for teaching.
