Our client is seeking an Initiative Manager in Weehawken, NJ.

Role Description

• Support our Product & Technology owners in the effective planning and execution of key programs that will enhance our portfolio of digital products and capabilities
• Prepare and manage the budget of key initiatives and ensure funds are allocated appropriately and efficiently
• Alignment of vendor costs across our digital program ensuring forecasts are well planned and actuals are monitored and accrued adequately
• Lead the annual portfolio planning cycle ensuring deliverables are aligned with three year strategic financial plans
• Support the delivery of internal and executive communications that connect audiences with our firm's strategy, business goals and culture
• a natural leader with an ability to work with diverse teams
• a strong communicator with compelling presentation skills, including the use of technology to communicate ideas and strategy
• a confident decision-maker, highly organized and detail-oriented

Skills & Requirements

• a bachelor's degree or equivalent
• experience as a Communications Analyst, Business Manager or Program Management Office analyst
• experience with business management, financials, and internal communications
• ability to manage end to end projects throughout agile methodology
• strong interpersonal skills, an ability to work well with individuals at all professional levels, intellectual curiosity, a relentless can-do attitude and a tireless sense of humor
• strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in using Power Point to develop exciting presentations and Excel to compile and analyze data
• understanding of Wealth Management and Banking products and services
• strong project organization skills and attention to detail
• proven problem solving as well as decision making skills
• excellent communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences

Benefits/Other Compensation
This position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
