Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$62,417.00-$99,867.00

Definition

  • Information Security: Support the security policies, practices, procedures, and technologies in order to ensure the protection of networks, systems, applications, and data
  • Technical Analysis: Understand, analyze, and document technical requirements in support of functional requirements.
  • Technical Design: Design and document solutions that address business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Construct/Implement: Develop solutions based on technical design documentation.

Skill Expectations

Demonstrate consistent success in the following areas:

Information Security:
  • Access Management and Governance: Full working knowledge and understanding of Zero Trust principles, Single Sign On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and CSG processes and procedures for access management. Handles incidents, request, and tickets of any type.
  • Privileged Access Management: Full working knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) technology and administration. Handles incidents, request, and tickets of any type.
  • Identity Management: Full working knowledge of Role Based Access Control processes and procedures throughout identity lifecycle (e.g. provisioning, attestation, transfers, deprovisioning). Working knowledge of Active Directory. Beginning to understand public cloud and how it impacts IAM. Handles incidents, request, and tickets of any type.
  • Compliance: Working knowledge of applicable regulations (PCI, ISO, HIPPA, GDPR, etc.), policies and procedures including how they apply to the areas of responsibility.
  • Technical Analysis: Gather and document requirements. Apply analysis skills to fulfill the requirements/resolve the issue.
  • Technical Design: Contribute to technical design decisions and documentation of designs using technical and functional specifications to ensure compliance with polices and regulations
  • Construct/Implement: Begin to demonstrate how to plan and deliver enterprise compliance solutions that are contemporary, in accordance with architectural guidelines, and aligned with industry direction.

Business Process

Definition
  • Business Acumen: Build and demonstrate proficiencies around general business processes and concepts. Become familiar with the CSG internal processes, procedures, and applications. Use this information to make good decisions quickly.
  • Business Process: Collaborate with business partners across CSG departments to define levels of process performance and associated quality measures expressed in terms of business outcomes.
  • Functional Analysis: Analyze and document business, functional, and application requirements.
  • Functional Design: Design and document functional solutions that address documented business/functional requirements.

  • Business Acumen: Continually grow business acumen and CSG process, procedure, and application knowledge to influence/drive adoption of best practices.
  • Business Process: Continue to broaden knowledge of business processes and systems specific to assigned duties.
  • Functional Analysis: Have an intermediate level understanding of how to interpret and gather functional requirements. Gather and document functional requirements, focusing on requirements that drive design decisions.
  • Functional Design: Consistently contribute to the design of solutions, focusing on design implications. Document designs using functional requirements.

Infrastructure Services

Definition
  • Availability/Recovery: Operate, implement, and maintain network availability and solutions that meet or exceed business requirements.
  • Capacity/Performance: Understand and translate network performance and capacity trends into actionable proactive requests to prevent application or system failures.

Demonstrate consistent success in the following areas:
  • Availability/Recovery: Through careful business process analysis, begin to identify and recommend network availability requirements.
  • Capacity/Performance: Identify areas of process and/or performance problems and collaborate with teams to resolve.

IT Process

Definition
  • Workload Management: Leveraging Agile methods, effectively plan, organize, and manage resources to achieve successful completion of specific project goals and objectives while honoring project constraints (scope, quality, time, and budget).
  • Incident/Problem Management: Be responsive. Effectively implement corrective measures to ensure timely restoration of impacted systems, services, and applications.
  • Change Control: Understand and follow the CSG Change Control process. Ensure all system changes adhere to the CSG Change Control process. Evaluate each change to ensure it is necessary, appropriate, documented, has been tested, and a thoroughly documented back-out plan to prevent/minimize adverse impact.
  • Financial Controls: Understand corporate operating and capital expense practices to ensure timely and accurate planning, forecasting and tracking of hardware, software, people and related costs.
  • Organization Change Management: Ensure success of infrastructure, applications, and business initiatives through effective communications and change management programs/techniques.

Skill Expectations

Demonstrate consistent success in the following areas:
  • Workload Management: Execute tasks. Articulate and track progress towards milestones while communicating/escalating appropriately. Keep the work item updated regularly with clear and concise notes about the work/analysis being performed and close the work item within service level agreement timeframes. Use available tools to independently analyze assigned work. Collaborate with peers as necessary. Operate efficiently with a sense of urgency. Participate in maintenance windows, post-maintenance validation, and on-call duties when required.
  • Incident/Problem Management: Conduct effective investigation, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of incidents/problems. Start to develop, implement, and document steps taken to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner and validate service has been restored. Know which forms to complete for each work type, and how to open vendor service requests. Understand how to interpret an incident, service request, and enhancement request.
  • Change Control: Contribute to identifying proper urgency, impact, and risk assessment of change requests. Collaborate with team members to plan, schedule, implement, and document changes in accordance with the CSG Change Control process.
  • Financial Controls: Execute timely and accurate time tracking of all working hours. Contribute to accurate estimation of work activities and tasks. Gain awareness of user licensing constructs for corporate functions applications.
  • Organization Change Management: Collaborate with team members to communicate timing and impact of changes in a clear, effective, and timely manner.
