Job Description Summary:
PayPal's SMB In-Store Marketing team is responsible for B2B marketing efforts supporting PayPal's initiatives in offline environments (IRL). We are seeking a super smart, intellectually curious, team first, high energy marketer with multi-channel experience to lead end-to-end strategy development and execution for driving engagement and habituation of PayPal products to in-store/in-person sellers. This role will be instrumental in building and defining best practices for full funnel marketing efforts within PayPal.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of SMB In-Store Marketing, the Manager, In-Store will be responsible for:
  • Building and leading engagement strategies to drive additional/new product usage and habituation among existing PayPal sellers, including building retention strategies.
  • Working with the larger marketing team to develop highly integrated full funnel marketing plans across paid, earned and owned channels.
  • Developing trackable media and budget plans with our internal teams and agency partners for digital and media strategies.
  • Partnering closely with our analytics team to define key metrics and facilitate ongoing measurement of the impact of our initiatives.
  • Contributing to streamline workflow, process management and interdependent relationships with other team members.

Requisite Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in multi-channels including email, paid media, in-app, web/onsite marketing.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing across multi-channel, full-funnel marketing strategies.
  • Capabilities in developing insight led test and learn approach across end-to-end funnel for customer and business impact.
  • Can partner, influence and thrive in a matrixed organization with an ability to present to stakeholders with gravitas and confidence.
  • Understanding of, and propensity to drive, integrated marketing and comms strategies.
  • Merchant/business segment background preferred.
  • Payments, Retail and/or In Store experience highly valued.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Key offices are in San Jose and San Francisco. Remote candidates may also apply.
