Job Summary:

The Human Resources Intern is engaged in the development of the mid-year performance review project, implementation of the HR company procedures project, and other HR projects. This individual will interface with the ABS Human Resources team, employees, and management.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement the mid-year performance review project with the HR team with specific requirements including reviewing all competencies.
• Implement the IT configuration of the performance review process within the ADP software including all timelines for completion.
• Review and test the performance review project for accuracy before launching to employees and management.
• Document and present training to employees and management on the process for completing the mid-year performance reviews.
• Launch out all reviews and monitor for completeness.
• Create all HR procedures that coordinate with HR policies.
• Implement a tracking system for all procedures and coordinate that they uploaded for presentation to employees and on the ADP website.
• Complete a 12-week project presentation at the end of internship.
• Report the progress of tasks on a regular basis.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Predictable and reliable attendance.

Position Qualifications:

• Undergraduate/graduate student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business degree, or related field.

• Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA required to enter the program.
• Must be actively enrolled in school.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience in ADP preferred.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to adjust focus, especially due to concentration on a computer screen.
• May need to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about in industrial environments, and on uneven terrain.
• Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional work in outdoor weather conditions, and in industrial environments.
• The noise level in the work environment can be moderately loud.
• May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, and colors.
