Benchmark Human Services is a leading nationwide agency serving adults and children with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions. Benchmark is looking to hire a full-time Human Resources Generalist to serve it's Richmond and Indianapolis markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and act upon local recruiting resources
• Direct employee engagement activities
• Serve as a liaison for employees and management
• Conduct background screenings
• Work with management to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
• Conduct orientation and on-going training
• Direct employment retention activities
• Counsel employee and managers on human resources related issues
• Conduct assigned safety drills and inspections

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication skills including the capacity to be an effective presenter
• Ability to work in a support capacity while providing direction to the local management team
