Human Resources Coordinator
EMCOR Services Aircond has an opportunity for a Human Resource Coordinator. The Human Resource Coordinator is a vital part of a dynamic, progressive, interactive, and engaged Human Resources team. The Human Resources Coordinator provides assistance and facilitates processes and procedures to effectively maintain the operation of the HR function. This role provides administrative support to HR functions as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as a point of contact for associate questions (benefits, 401k, personal changes, etc.).
Processes all hires, transfers, changes and terminations accurately into HRIS in a timely manner.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Assist with benefits administration including open enrollment, entering benefit elections and providing information to help employees make election decisions.
Create and maintains all associate files, personnel and benefits.
Assist with leave of absence tracking including FMLA administration and disability case management.
Generate weekly and monthly reports. identifying and reconciling discrepancies.
Assist with creating offer letters, new hire packets and background checks.
Supports recruiting process by scheduling phone interviews and screening candidates as needed during peak season.
Support other HR initiatives and projects as needed.
Provides backup support to Payroll Specialist as needed.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Bachelor degree in Human Resources or business related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Specifically Word and Excel. Experience in COINS ERP+ a plus.
Outstanding organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with the utmost professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal and strong written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent time management and work ethic.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to understand clients, managers expectations and partner with HR leads to address questions.
Proactive and self-directed and results-oriented.
