Beacon Hill Staffing is partnering with a company that is looking for a Human Resource Specialist! This role, is for a fairly entry level HR candidate looking to start their career in project coordination and administration.

40 hours per week (8-4:30 pm shift) or open to PT work 25-30 hours/week as well

Location: Onsite, Brooklyn Park, MN

Duration: Temporary

Job Duties:
* File, organize and maintain personnel files
* Collect resumes and job descriptions for new hires and current employees.
* Partner with HR Business Partner on pre-orientation duties; contact new hires and send out pre-orientation information via email
* Create reports from HRIS/time and attendance
* May assist HR Business Partner with conducting exit interviews
* May assist with time and attendance time administrator duties such as conducting high level review of timecards prior to bi-weekly payroll
* Complete mandatory training within required timeframe.
* Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or higher a plus
* 1+ years previous HR experience preferred
* Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and time and attendance systems (Workday and Kronos)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Word and Excel
