Due to company growth, we are actively seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Ferndale, Michigan, which is known for art, music, and DIY culture. We provide chemical process solutions and materials that improve products that people use in their daily lives. We offer surface finishing for the automotive, aerospace, construction, oil & gas, and electronics industries.

What You Will Be Doing As the Human Resources Generalist, you will support the delivery of effective HR processes, policies, and initiatives. You will improve HR processes and the way we support our employees on a daily basis. An important focus of this position is to make strong connections with people by motivating and inspiring them to achieve results. As part of our Regional HR team, you will communicate with all levels of the business. You will be a part of larger scale projects and change initiatives to elevate the HR function as a whole.

*Responsibilities:*
- Coordinating recruitment efforts for multiple sites
- Working with department managers on employee relations activities
- Ensuring all compliance reporting is current
- Onboarding new employees
- Coordinating offboarding (proper transfer of duties and resources)
What You Need for this Position *Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or HR related field
- Must have strong recruitment experience
- Employee Relations
- Organizational Development
