Position Summary
Position: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Seneca Falls, NY
Education: Bachelors in Human Resources or related field is required
Experience: 2-4 years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing setting is required, collective bargaining (union) experience is preferred however not required. Must have demonstrated experience in a professional HR role handling confidential information. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional, culturally sensitive approach. Attention to detail is required. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is required.
General Summary: The HR Generalist, in conjunction with the Site HR Manager assists in delivering HR functional support to the facility as an employee advocate, administrative expert and business driver. The HR Generalist will have the opportunity to work cross functionally and within the full scope of generalist activity: employee relations, performance management, regulatory and legal compliance, policy administration, recruitment, employee training, and development in a collaborative, team-based environment to help the facility achieve their Operational Excellence goals.
